JAMMU, July 12: District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Jammu has imparted Subject Specific training to 1000 Elementary teachers. A five phase Subject Specific Training programme for Elementary teachers was organized in collaboration with Directorate of Samagra Shiksha J&K in five phases from June 11 to July. In these five phases Science, English Mathematics, Social Science and Hindi subjects were covered.
The trainee teachers were drawn from 15 Zones of the district. The main focus of the training programme was to improve the transactional strategy and pedagogical skills of the teacher teaching at the Elementary level. The training sessions were held at GBHSS Akhnoor, GGHSS Akhnoor, GBHSS Bakshi Nagar, GGHSS Domana, GBHSS Gandhi Nagar, GMMS Satwari, GGHSS Miran Sahib, GHSS Domana and GGHSS Bishnah. |
