BJP failed to address genuine issues of Jammu people: Cong

JAMMU, July 12: The young Congress leaders have alleged that BJP has been totally failed to genuine issues of the people from Jammu region.
A meeting of the party leaders was held today in Congress office here to discuss the current issues and problems being faced by the people of Jammu region due to utter failure of BJP to represent and highlight the genuine issues concerning common masses. The meeting deliberated upon various day to day problems being faced by the public in the absence of any elected Govt said that the onus is on the BJP which got huge mandate in the last Assembly and Lok Sabha elections as well as the current Lok Sabha elections besides being the ruling party at the Centre and State being under direct Central rule.
They said that it is most unfortunate that the common people have no medium to raise their voice for their basic necessities like water, power, healthcare and education due to the neglect of the BJP representatives. The people have to come on roads to express their anger and seek redressal of their genuine grievances.
The meeting identified various issues to be highlighted concerning the public of Jammu region and launched 30- points charter of issues to be highlighted through various modes of agitations and other democratic means to seek the attention of State and Central Governments.
Prominent youth leaders who attended the meeting were Narinder Sharma, Pranav Shagotra, Rajeev Saraf, Sanjeev Panda, Rajvir Singh, Varun Magotra, Rajan Sharma, Babal Gupta, Shivani Sharma, Brinder Singh, Som Raj, Vinay Sharma, HS Mehta, Rashpal Singh, Ricky Dalotra, Anoop Gupta, Sahil Sharma and others.
