Ramakrishna Mission Belur Math Adhyaksha visits SANJY Numwan Base Camp, offers medical aid for Yatries

Nunwan (Pahalgam), July 20, 2019 : Ramakrishna Mission Belur Math Adhyaksha Swami Vimalatmananda who happens to a Trustee and Governing Body Member of the Mission visited Nunwan Base Camp fo Shri Amarnathji Yatra and took a round of the Base Camp alongwith Amit Sharma, Camp Director and his team including Farooq Ahmed Khan Chowki Officer P/P, DGM Works Pardeep Sharma, Volunteer Raees Lone and others. Swami Vimalatmananda was accompanied with Swami Ritatmananda, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Kashmir and his other disciples. The team of Nunwan Base Camp led by Camp Director Amit Sharma received this group of Holy Saints of Ramakrishna Mission at Base Camp Today morning and apprised them about the facilities available here.
Swami Vimalatmananda of Ramakrishna Mission expressed a noble desire to Camp Director Amit Sharma that they want to actively contribute for Shri Amarnathji Yatra in future in terms of providing free medical aid, other facilities to the Yatries through the Mission who shall be delighted to serve pilgrims coming from all across the length and breadth of nation during the Yatra every year. He further disclosed that Swami Vivekananda himself visited the Holy Cave in 1898 through this traditional route before returning to Belur Math and renouncing this world including his body at a very tender age of 39 years. Therefore, Ramakrishna Mission always have had a special attraction and affections towards getting actively associated with Shri Amarnathji Yatra and contribute in the best possible manner with it in future.
Camp Director Amit Sharma expressed gratitude to Swami Vimalatmananda, Governing Body Member of Ramakrishna Mission for visiting Nunwan Base Camp which is the major haltage point for Shri Amarnathji Yatries who accent the hills to visit Holy Cave through traditional route and assured that the same services being offered by the Mission to Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board shall be passed to all concerned authorities for considering same. Before leaving, Ramakrishna Mission team complimented Camp Director Amit and his team for maintaining a clean and vibrant atmosphere within the Nunwan Base Camp which has been a matter of great satisfaction for all pilgrims visiting this Camp.
