| Inter-state championship begins at JU | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 20: An All India Inter-state Championship organized by Sports Development Board India (SDBI) began here today at Indoor Audi at Jammu University (JU). Vice Chancellor Jammu University Prof Manoj K Dhar along with guest of honor SSP Dushyant Sharma inaugurated the event by igniting the traditional lamp Teams of different sports from different states are participating in All India Interstate championship. While interacting with media VC of Jammu University said that such type of inter state championships should be promoted on a big level. SSP Dushant Sharma also said youth should be motivated to take up different games as the young generation is under constant danger of the drug menace which is ruining their future adding that the sports could prove to be a big help for them to not indulge in anti-social activities. |
