| Surprise reorganization of J&K hailed | | | Early Times Report
Akhnoor, Aug 5: Hailing govt initiative of reorganizing the state of Jammu & Kashmir form state to Union Territories, Th. K P Singh, Chairman DSSP Kissan Cell and founder of Tanda Tiger Force stated that 5th August 2019 Monday will go down as a Golden Day in Indian political history because of passage of historic bill in the Rajya Sabha. While in the news was likelihood of abrogation of Article 35 A and some apprehensions of abrogation of Article 370 at a later date, sudden re-organisation plan is a bullet from the blues and most heartening. While the so called main stream Kashmiri political leaders may be upset and feel helpless, majority of the people in the valley and almost every Jammuite has appreciated the passage of the bill, he stated. He also said that there is a curfew type situation in Jammu city, but the countryside is very happy and is celebrating the historic event.
Now that J&K is not what it was, farmers and Kissan community of Jammu should be given all the benefits which were being arbitrarily given to kashmiri farmers demanded Chairman of the Kissan Cell. He also hope that Kargil war porters of Tanda Tiger Force will get justice, recognition and compensation for their services during Kargil War as per Point number 22 of the DSSP vision document, he stated.
Reorganisation of J&K is the only and the best way to end the discrimination of Jammu and Ladakh. Since the division of J&K is not like the partition of India or separation of J&K from India, it is integration instead. I therefore appeal all Kashmir leaders not to misguide the kashmiris and create any law and order problems. I also appeal Jammu leaders to unite for the overall development of Jammu and for the end of agony of new Jammu. |
