Congress, NC, PDP responsible for abrogation of Art.370, 35-A: TDF
8/6/2019 9:18:33 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 6: The members of Thathri Development Front (TDF) District Doda today said that no Hindu, Muslim, Bodh, Sikh and Christian is safe in this corrupt, caste based political system and it is the prime duty of every responsible citizen of the state to work unitedly irrespective of caste, colour or creed and region or religion to expose all the traditional political parties who are responsible of unrest in the state.
According to press release, the TDF said that they are not saviour of democratic Institutions or Art.370 or 35-A, but are the real killers of these Institutions and they have simply exploited the sentiments of people in the garb of Art. 370 & 35-A to enhance their political interests. The real beneficiaries are only few Political families, politicians & bureaucrats.
Why no implementation of constitutional amendment no 73 & 74 to empower the Panchyati Raj Institutions in the interest of the poor people of the state? Why six years term for Assembly in the State contrary to other states in the country? Is it not the misuse of article 370 they questioned? We have to discard all these spent forces in whatever colour they come before the masses, they said.
They said that fasting / protests against corrupt system won't help general masses because the corrupt politicians will never frame laws against themselves.
It is only the people, like that of Delhi, who should wake up from the deep slumber & throw away the 70 years of Yoke of NC, Congress, PDP in the state, they cautioned the general public not to get misled by the degraded politics of divide and rule, regionalism, communalism and corrupt practices for the sake of votes by these corrupt political parties and beware of all these political parties who are blaming one another only to mislead the general public.
Reminding NC-Congress of the unprecedented poll riggings in 1987 when NC joined hands with the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, they said it was during said Rajiv Gandhi and Farooq Abdullah accord where in about one dozen leaders of Muslim United Front (MUF) actually got elected but were arbitrarily declared defeated in J&K. This was the open murder of democracy and its democratic values at the hands of none but central Government of Congress in connivance with State NC Govt.
