Udhampur, Aug 8: Dr. S.D. Singh, IPS, IGP, Director SKPA Udhampur alongwith staff and trainees launched plantation drive in the Academy campus on 08.08.2019. The aim of the drive is to bring maximum campus area which is lying fallow under green cover. Different species for the plantation have been selected which includes Avenue trees, fruit trees and trees of medicine importance. Moreover, steps are being taken to ensure that campus is kept clean. Various buildings and residential quarters have been given trash bins where 'biodegradable' and 'non-biodegradable' trash is segregated and disposed off separately and 'biodegradable' material shall be used for producing 'vermicompost'. The aim of the drive is to create eco-friendly environment in the Academy. Various wings of trainee officers have been allotted different areas of the Academy to ensure their sustained participation in the drive, so that the campus remains neat and clean. Dr. S.D. Sharma Dy.SP (R&D), Bharat Bushan Dy.SP (Admn), Vidya Sagar Dy.SP (Outdoor), Ramesh Kataria Dy.SP(S) Administrative Officer, Vijay Soodan, Sunil Kumar, Vikram Parihah Ajay Dogra all Sr. Prosecutors and all other officers of the Academy. |
