Jammu, Aug 28: Commissioner Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, Sourab Bhagat, reviewed functioning of Employment Department in Jammu region.
Commissioner Secretary sought district wise progress on registration of candidates under PMSYM scheme and emphasized the need to organize awareness camps at remote areas for wider publicity of the scheme.
He asked the officers to keep strict monitoring on presence of employees in their sub offices so that the government schemes are effectively implemented for larger interest of the community.
Commissioner Secretary directed the officers to organize awareness programmes at village/block level so that every citizen is apprised of schemes of the government.
Director Employment, Joint Director and district heads of District Employment and Counselling centres of Jammu division were present in the meeting.
Director informed about the progress of registration under PMSYM scheme and SHG scheme for unemployed engineers. |
