Jammu, Sept 1: Post August 5, Pakistan leadership has resorted to the two extremes of sabre-rattling and offer of conditional talks with a view to brow beat India, least realising that such posturing is only exposing the helplessness in which Pakistan finds itself, stated Brig Anil Gupta, State Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party in a press statement issued today.
While Pakistan Prime Minister has threatened a nuclear war signalling with the night-launch test firing of nuclear capable Ghaznavi missile, its military leadership has been posturing its forces threatening a conventional war and now its foreign minister has come out with a bizarre statement of talks if the detained Kashmiri leadership is freed and allowed to interact with their mentors in Pakistan, stated Brig Gupta. India has already busted Pakistan's nuclear bluff by launching the surgical strikes and Balakot Air attack against terror safe havens in Pakistan.
As far as conventional war between the two is concerned, India has made its intentions very clear by giving befitting reply to any Pak misadventure along the line of control (LOC), asserted Brig Gupta. As far as the offer of Pak Foreign Minister is concerned, it has no relevance because the Government of India has made it abundantly clear that Pakistan has no locus-standi with respect to Kashmir.
India will now talk to Pakistan only about POJK and the areas it has illegally ceded to China claimed Brig Gupta. In a significant message, Governor Satya Pal Malik, minced no words while announcing that in "Naya Kashmir, Naya Bharat, there will be no dialogue with separatists and mainstream political parties. Hurriyat can no longer claim Pakistan as a stakeholder." This should set at rest any hopes or anxiety Pak leadership may be harbouring on the issue, asserted Brig Gupta. |
