| GDC RS Pura organizes lecture on "Plastic Waste Management" | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 13: Department of EVS, Government Degree College R.S. Pura organized a lecture on plastic waste management as part of Swacchhta Hi Seva - Plastic Waste Free Campaign 2019 under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Sunita Sudan and supervision of Prof. Esha Abrol, HOD Department of EVS. Senior faculty members Dr. Dileep Raina and Prof. S. K. Dhar were the guests of honour on the occasion. Prof. Vijay Kumari, Department of EVS was the resource person for this event. She emphasized on the hazards of plastic waste and how it is poisoning every component of our environment. She also spoke about its management through proper segregation at source and by following 3R's. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Renu Sharma. |
