As per the details available with "Early Times" , a group of three militants among them two were later identified as Osama Bin Javed and Zahid Hussain Sagar barged into the house of PDP leader Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain situated in Lanyal area in the outskirts of Kishtwar town at around 11. 30 PM last night and after spending whole night managed to give a slip to security forces who remain deployed in the Kishtwar town and its outskirts following the abrogation of Articles 370 & 35 A of the constitution.
The incident is the 4th militancy related incident following the killing of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar on 1-11-2018, Weapon Snatching incident on 8/9-3-2019 involving PSO of DC Kishtwar and killing of RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and his PSO inside District Hospital Kishtwar on 9-4-2019 while all these cases are yet to be solved, a fresh incident again shook the Kishtwar District.
While narrating the bone chilling account of the havoc that wreak inside his house, PDP leader Sheikh Nasir Hussain that it was at around 11.30 PM last night when he saw a man in army fatigue entering his home adding that at first instance he thought that it was a task force team that might have launched a search operation in the area.
He further said that while inquiring from the person who first entered the house, two more people holding pistols in their hands followed them and pointed weapon at him beside threatening his family members and the minor children.
He said that the militants forced his family not to raise any alarm and even pointed out a gun at his three year old niece as a result of which the whole family including his mother, his father a retired teacher Noor Hussain Sheikh, sister, two children including his 3 year old daughter, his sister in law (Brothers wife), her 7 year old daughter and make them to toe their line and in case of failure, they threaten to kill everyone.
He said that the militants informed him that they were waiting for him for hours together and want to kill him and his PSO with an aim to snatch his weapon. He said that when the militants hiding inside the adjoining maize fields didn't see his PSO accompanying him, they shelved the plan and kept waiting till late night.
He said that the militants told him that they have the instructions to kill the pro-Indian politicians adding that they said that the religion of pro-Indian politicians, whether a Muslim or Hindu, doesn't matter. Hussain said the militants termed politicians like him and Ex-MoS Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo as more damaging for their ongoing cause of "self determination". He said that one of the militant also confronted him for remaining silent when his (militant's) sister remained in NIA custody for nearly two months.
He said that the militant forced him to contact his PSO Mubashir Ahmed and threatened them that in case his PSO didn't come, they will eliminate him and his family.
He said that when his servant entered his home, he too was held hostage adding that his brother, who returned home only this morning and was too held hostage by the militants who were inside his home. He said that when his PSO entered the house, they pounced upon him and there was a fight between him and the militants before they asked him that in case he continues to resist them, they will kill everyone among the hostages.
He said that later they tied them with ropes, put cloths on their mouth and locked them in different rooms. He said that they also tied his PSO and locked him in another room adding that his PSO later somehow managed to get his ropes removed and jumped from the second story of the house from the back side and brought the matter into the notice of police who rushed to the spot and set them free. He said that the militants escaped by whisking away in the vehicle of his brother which was later recovered by the police from Dool area some 10 kms away from Kishtwar.
