| Bovine animals rescued, 2 arrested | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Sept 13: Reasi Police reportedly rescued four bovine animals and arrested two alleged smugglers from Arnas area. According to sources a police party from Arnas Police Station laid a naka at Kanthan area and on the basis of specific information intercepted a vehicle bearing registration No.7623/JK20A.
"During search of said vehicle four bovine animals rescued from the smugglers identified as Bashir Shah (driver) and Shah Jahan sons of Sakhi Mohd resident of Kansi Patta Tehsil and district Reasi", they said, adding that they were leader towards Kashmir valley via Mahore without required permission.
They said that both the accused persons have been arrested vehicle used for transportation of bovine animals has also been seized.
"A case FIR No 78/19 U/S 188/RPC stands registered at Police Station Arnas and investigation taken up", they said. |
