Ex Legislator starts developmental works in Patta Chungi

Jammu, Sept 13: Former legislator of Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started construction works of lane at Patta Chungi area of Ward 41.
Sharma was also accompanied by a large number of people including State Secretary BJP and Corporator Ward 41 Sanjay Baru, District President BJP Ayodhya Gupta, JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) officials, local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.25 lakhs and lane at Patta Chungi area will be constructed under the same.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was indeed a long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area as earlier works pertaining to laying of new water pipes were taken up by the PHE department for which funds amounting to Rs. 18.5 lakhs were sanctioned under the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme during his tenure.
