JMC Dy Mayor conducts tour of Bahu Fort

Jammu, Sept 13: Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Adv Purnima Sharma today conducted a tour of Bahu Fort, Ward No. 47, 48 in view of the upcoming Navratras. Dr. Saleem Khan (Health Officer, JMC) alongwith concerned staff, Arun Gupta, XEN (T), S. Joginder Bali, AEE(E) accompanied the Deputy Mayor. Councillors of various wards were also present on the occasion. They discussed the issues like sanitation of the Bahu fort premises, maintenance of street lights. Madam laid emphasis on installation of more dustbins inside the premises of Bahu Fort.
Deputy Mayor gave directions to the Executive Engineer (E), that all the lights of the National Highway proceeding towards the Bahu Fort should be made functional in view of the upcoming Navratras. The Hon'ble Deputy Mayor also took stock of the various problems faced by the general public. The Hon'ble Deputy Mayor directed the concerned officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation on spot to sort out the grievances of the public on war footing. Deputy Mayor directed Dr. Saleem Khan, Health Officer, JMC to provide adequate sanitation staff and facility for the pilgrims and assured the Pujaris of the Bahu Fort that they will get full cooperation from JMC. All the sanitary supervisors were directed strictly to work with full dedication and provide best to the expectation of General Public on routine basis.
