| Notorious drug peddler arrested, heroin recovered | | |

Kathua, Sept 20: In a decisive action against drug menace, a team of Police Station Hiranagar seized 5 grams of heroin-like substance and arrested a notorious drug peddler wanted for spread of drugs in the area.
According to police sources, a team of Police Station Hiranagar led by Inspector Vijay SHO Police Station Hiranagar on a tipoff sensitized Londi checkpoint and apprehended a notorious drug peddler coming from Jammu on Alto car bearing registration no. JK08F-7579 at NHW Londi Morh in the jurisdiction of Police Station Hiranagar and seized 5 grams of heroin-like substance in his illegal possession.
The accused namely Ali son of Taj Din resident of Mukandpur Marheen is a notorious drug peddler and was going to sell it among youth of the area. Police station Hiranagar registered a case FIR no. 102/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act against the accused. Further investigation into the case is going on. |
