| BJP Refugee Cell distributes track suits, note books in school | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 20: An awareness programme on Clean & Green Earth under "Sewa Saptah" was organized with the help of Bharatiya Janata Party's Refugee Cell in W.No. 73 of JMC in Govt. Girls Middle School, Kotha Bhour.
BJP State Spokesperson Pt. Ashok Khajuria was chief guest and the main speaker of the programme. S. Balbir Singh Head Master of School, Refugee Cell Convenor Vikas Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Bharat Sharma, Netar Parkash, Hem Raj (Retd. ZEO), Rohit and Sanjeev Gupta and staff members of the school along with the students were present in the programme.
Pt. Ashok Khajuria, while addressing, emphasized on not using polythene bags and decreasing the use of any type of plastic particularly neglecting the use of Single Use of Plastics (SUP). They also emphasized on planting more and more trees to save life on earth as oxygen scarcity has become biggest threat to human life. He said that during this Sewa Saptah, various programmes on the theme of Clean & Green Earth have been organized and celebrated with great enthusiasm, and on the occasion, we pray to God for the long and healthy life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In the programme, all the speakers discussed in detail that increased use of polythene and plastic by human is killing soil and at the same time oxygen scarcity has resulted serious illness to humans and all kinds of life. They said that human must take substantial measures for the protection of the Earth and its environment so that the future generations can lead a healthy life and we can initiate such steps from our home and our surroundings only and asked the students to be a part of this campaign.
Track suits were also distributed on the occasion to the meritorious students; whereas sets of note books were distributed to all the students of school in presence of prominent persons of the society. |
