RAMBAN, Sept 20: A newly born male baby was abandoned by unknown persons in District Hospital (DH) Ramban, here today. According to the eyewitness, two unknown boys abandoned a baby boy in the general ward of hospital in morning and left.
According to Medical Superintendent, District Hospital (DH) Ramban, Dr J P Singh, the baby is under weight and has kept under the supervision of hospital authorities in SNCU and proper care is being provided to him.
"We have informed the police besides lodged a FIR in this regard at Police Station Ramban. The hospital will bear the cost on him care till the heirs of the baby are traced", he added. |
