| DSE Jammu inaugurates Herbal Garden | | |

Jammu, Sept 20: Director School Education, Jammu Anuradha Gupta along with Rajeev Khajuria Personnel Officer in the DSEJ inaugurated the Herbal Garden by planting Ashoka Tree and many other species of Herbal plants in Govt. Middle School ,Barnai.
Both the Officers visited the School on the request of Kuldeep Singh I/C Headmaster. She also visited Class I and interacted with the students. She appreciated the impressive response by the students and advised the teachers to make the students more confident.
Worthy Director appreciated the initiative taken by the Head of the School and his team and decided to include the School in the list of Model Schools having all the facilities like Modern Nursery class, CAL Centre and other facilities which a Model School should have.
She also advised the Head of the Institution to grow Vegetable Garden also in the School premises. She also emphasized to bring awareness among the parents of the students about the different schemes launched by the School Education Department so that they can derive the maximum benefit out of these schemes. She also applauded the teachers for their selfless service towards the less privileged students and encouraged them to work wholeheartedly to uplift these students so that they can compete with their counterparts. |
