JAMMU, Sept 20: Awareness programme on plastic bags pollution was organized by Priya Sharma Sarpanch Panchayat Muthi Maira, Jourian.
The main aim of the programme was to make the people and students aware about pollution caused by plastic bags. The gathering was also made aware about solid waste management.
While speaking on the occasion, Priya Sharma Sarpanch delivered the lecture regarding the significant efforts to reduce the prominence of free range plastic pollution through reducing plastic consumption, promoting plastic recycling, etc. She also administered the oath to the gathering for not using plastic. Among others present were Naib Sarpanch Ashok Kumar, Panch Dalip Kumar, Rajan Vaid, Veena Devi, Rano Devi, Gharu Ram, BJP District General Secretary Ravinder Sharma. |
