| Mayor conducts tour of old city areas | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: The Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chander Mohan Gupta today conducted tour in the areas of City Chowk, Old Hospital Road and Shalamar Road areas.
Mayor Gupta was accompanied by Councilor of ward no 15 Sandhya Gupta and concerned officers/officials of different section of JMC.
He took stock of the various problems faced by the residents as well as shopkeepers of that area regarding sanitation, development works menace of stray dogs, street lights and starting work of deep drain in Shalamar Road.
Mayor directed the concerned officers on spot to sort out the grievances of the public of these areas on war footing. Mayor also appealed to the residents and shopkeepers of the area not to throw garbage and polythene in lanes and drains and cooperate with the JMC to make Jammu neat, clean and green under Swacch Bharat Mission. |
