Police arrested thief, recovered stolen property

JAMMU, Sept 30: Police arrested a thief and recovered the stolen property and further and investigation took up by Bakshi Nagar Police Station.
According to police sources, September 23, 2019, a complainant namely Saddam Hussain resident of Toph Sherkhania, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu has lodged a written complaint at Police Station Bakshi Nagar regarding a theft at his shop at Toph Sherkhania, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
On this, a case FIR No. 170/2019 under section 457, 380 Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar, Jammu and an investigation has been taken up.
During the course of the investigation, an accused person namely Sumit Kumar resident of Shanti Nagar, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu was arrested. During questioning, the accused has confessed that he has committed the crime and on his disclosure, the stolen property has been recovered. It is worthwhile to mention here that the accused Sumit Kumar was the ex-employee of complainant Saddam Hussain shop.
The theft case has been worked out by the sincere and hard efforts of team of Police Station Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
