| Dogra Degree College organizes induction programme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: Dogra Degree College organized induction programme to welcome the new entrants who have joined the college for the session 2019-20. The programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries followed by Ganesh Vandana by the students of B.Com semester-1.
Welcome address was delivered by Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Degree College. She apprised the students about the achievements of the students who have brought laurels to the college. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman; Dogra Educational Trust was the chief guest on the occasion. He welcomed the new comers and emphasized on maintaining discipline by the students which will help them in their future life. He also emphasized on the importance and recognition of hidden talent of the students which always contribute to the development of self- confidence and self expression. He further added that Dogra Degree College is committed and will continue its endeavor in imparting education for the betterment of the society.
Kr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust also welcomed the students and gave brief information about the college achievements and also shared the information pertaining to college academic rules and regulations of the college. Oath was taken by the students and conveners of various committees. |
