Workshop on laws applicable to J&K UT held

RAJOURI, Sept 30: A workshop on laws that will implemented in Jammu and Kashmir after its switch over to Union Territory on and after October 31st was held in District Police Lines Rajouri.
It was held on the directions of Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu. Chief Prosection Officer Udhampur range Headquarters , Inderjeet Sharma and Chief Prosecution Officer Udhampur, Anil Mangotra were the resource speakers in it while Additional SP Headquarters Rajouri, Liyaqit Ali inaugurated it in the conference hall of police lines.
Chief Prosecution Officer Rajouri courts, Manzar Khayam, Chief Prosecution Officer DPO Rajouri, Sarfaraz Ahmed, DySP DAR Rajouri, Zaheer Abbas besides all Station House Officers, Police Post Incharges and Investigation Officers from across the district attended the day long workshop.
Participants were made aware about all the changes in police laws that are set to take place after state switches over to Union Territory.
They were also informed about mode of implementation of police laws which will witness some changes after October 31. Several other issues pertaining to the theme of workshop were discussed and investigation officers were briefed about it.
