Poonch, Oct 2: ARTO Poonch Yugal Kishore Sharma organised a bike rally to spread the message to 'say no to plastic' in the town. A large number of officers from civil administration, Police and youth from the town wearing T-Shirt with message "Say No To Plastic Bag" passed through various part of the city.
The enthusiasm of the rally was contagious and spread like wildfire throughout the area. People responded very positively and promised to be cautious in their use of plastic and said they would adopt measures to save water.
"Such efforts by us will definitely bring about the change which we urgently need to save our planet and future generations from the frightening hazards of plastic use on our environment and the dire situation the earth is facing from a scarcity of water", said an added we, "Appeal to all to support them in their effort and make this earth a beautiful place to live in. |
