| President MC Katra flags off Prabhat Pheri | | |  Early Times Report
Katra, Oct 6: Jammu and Kashmir Association of Prabhat Pheri today took out Prabhat Pheri on 8th Navratra which is a part of Navratra Festival Katra 2019 and is being organized jointly by J&K Tourism Deptt and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra in association with district administration.
A spiritual environment was created by today's Prabhat Pheri which started from Bus Stand Katra to Darshan Deodi via Ban Ganga Road and procession was welcomed and joined hugely by the locals and pilgrims all along the route. Prabhat Pheri today was flagged off by Shashi Gupta president Municipal Council Katra in presence of vice president Ajay Baru , Durga Parsad coordinator regional outreach bureau and other councilors of Katra. The councilors present on the occasion were Rajesh Sadhotra and Ravi Nag. Chief Guest and other councilors were felicitated by the association members with turbans, chunaries and memento. The locals as well as pilgrims danced to the tunes of Bhajans and Kirtan performed by Vijay & Party, Rajni Kant and party of Rajasthan . CRPF personnel received the procession at Yog Ashram and served the parshad to the participants under the supervision of CRPF commandant of 6th battalion Jitender Gupta. School students and NCC cadets were very enthusiastic while participating in the parbhat pheri and they danced and echoed the Jaikaras of Maa Vaishnodevi all along the route. |
