Newly appointed president of Jat Sabha to work dedicatedly for community

Jammu, Oct 7: The newly appointed President of All J&K Jat Sabha, S. Manjit Singh, today said that he and his team would work dedicatedly for the up-liftment of the Jat Biradari and announced new office bearers of the Sabha.
In his maiden press brief after being appointed as President of All J&K Jat Sabha, S.Manjit Singh, has assured the members of the community that the new team will leave no stone unturned to ensure that all the issues of the biradari are resolved.
He said that the Jat Sabha is fighting since long for inclusion of Jats into Other Backward Classes (OBC) category which would now be intensified. Manjit further said that the new team will conduct visit to all the areas soon and will announce district and tehsil level units of J&K Jat Sabha so that the problems of the community can be addressed. He said that under the patronage of Ch. Piara Singh and other seniors of the biradari he will try his level best to come upto the expectations of the community.
S.Manjit Singh also announced the office bearers of the All J&K Jat Sabha. He said that with consultation of Ch. Piara Singh the following persons have been appointed as new office bearers of All J&K Jat Sabha. Those who have been appointed include Ch. Sukhnandan, Ch. Garu Ram (both former ministers), Taranjit Singh Tony as Senior Vice Presidents. Rahim Daad former MLC, Ch. Vikram Randhawa (MLC) and Pratap Choudhary have been appointed as Vice Presidents. Surinder Choudhary (MLC) has been appointed as General Secretary, whereas, Dwarika Choudhary and Manjit Singh Jatt have been appointed as Secretaries of All J&K Jat Sabha.
S.Manjit Singh further urged upon the new office bearers to work dedicatedly for the upliftment of the Jat Community which has numerous issues pending since long. He said Ch. Piara Singh during his long tenure of more than 31 years as President of All J&K Jat Sabha raised many burning issues of the biradari and many of them were even resolved but it is now time to take his fight and struggle ahead with more aggression and dedication.
