DPS Udhampur organizes Capacity Building Workshop

Udhampur, Oct 16: Delhi Public School Udhampur held a day-long capacity building workshop for its teachers on 16th October, 2019.With a view to keeping their teachers abreast with the latest techniques. The comprehensive workshop titled 'One-day Capacity Building Programme on the following topics: Effective Teaching strategies, Cooperation & Team Work, Positive Discipline : Class room Strategies ,Sensitization for students' problems ,Handling Adolescent Issues ,Interpersonal Communication, Improvement Techniques. The resource person for the workshop was Kavita Chabbra an eminent educationist who has a rich experience in seasoned multilingual with command over German, English and Spanish too. She is well known for her exuberant, entertaining and extemporaneous style of presentation, many people have enjoyed and benefited from her trainings. Chabbra specially flew in from Delhi to conduct the workshop for the teachers of DPS Udhampur. The Pro Vice Chairman of the School Dr. J. C Gupta stated that as long as teachers don't act as learners they can't keep themselves abreast with the current pedagogical developments. Our teachers' training programme equips our teachers with the changing pedagogical approaches. Educators from across the globe visit our campus to train our teachers in the latest in educational practices.
