Jammu, Oct 24: Extending greetings on the auspicious day of State Accession Day with the Union of India Jammu Province People Forum (JPPF) has urged the Jammuites to join enmass in the grand celebration being held on 26th October 2019 at Maharaja Statue, Tawi Bridge at 10:30 AM.
In the meeting chaired by President Pavitter Singh Bhardwaj while delebrating on the said celebration along with other important issues in hand it was clarified that JPPF as a routine calendar has been celebrating the accession day regularly on 27th October as the instrument of accession which was signed by Late Maharaja Harisingh on 26th of October was completed on the day having signed by Lord Mountbatten on 27th October.
While congratulating all Jammuites on the coming DiwaIi festival falling on 27th October coincidently coinciding with the accession day the celebration was proponed on 26th October at the instance of members in the meeting itself.
Besides working president MS Katoch the meeting was attended by RS Jamwal , ML Sharma, Avinash Bhatia, Prithvi Singh Salathia, Madan Mohan Sharma, Rattan Singh, Surinder Vir , Col.
