| Rangoli competition organized | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 24: On the eve of Diwali Maharaja Hari Singh DAV public school organised a Rangoli competition in the school premises. The students in groups displayed multi coloured rangolis with full anxiety. Around thirty two rangoli were displayed and six of them were adjudged prize winning. In addition to it, the primary pre primary and middle standard students participated in diva decoration competition. With the guidance of class teachers students prepared beautiful divas. The principal of the institution encourged the students for their efforts and refreshments were served to them. Earlier, all the students assembled in the school lawns and various teachers and students highlighted the importance of the day.
Principal of the institution while addressing the students wished all the students a fabulous and happy diwali and in her address she asked the students to take a pledge for celebrating the festival as green diwali |
