Jammu, Oct 24: The students of GGM Science College, besides performing exceptionally well in almost all the segments of various events organized for Yuvtarang 2019, exhibited their skills by giving brilliant performances even in the category of Gayan Vadan (Music) Despite the fact that there is no Department of Music in the College, the students put in their individual efforts with full support and guidance provided by Dr. Kaushal Smotra, (Principal GGM Sc. College), Prof. Ravi Kant (Cultural Coordinator), Dr Geetanjli Rajput (Asstt. Dean Students Welfare) and the members of the concerned committee Prof. Shrdha Anand (Convenor), Dr. Upasna Andotra, Dr Sushma, Dr Arti and Rakesh. In Classical Vocal Solo, Swarnjot Singh bagged Ist Position, in Classical Instrumental (Solo), Swarnjot Singh bagged Ist Prize and Shobit Gupta clinched the 3rd prize . In Light Vocal (Solo), Swarnjyot Singh won the bronze medal. In Western Vocal (Solo), Anchal Bharti bagged 3rd prize whereas in Western Group Song and Indian Group Song category, GGM Science College bagged 3rd position. |
