JAMMU, Oct 24: A four day provincial level Cubs/Bulbuls camp was organized at State Headquarters, BS&G Gandhi Nagar Jammu with effect from 21-10-2019 to 24th October, 2019. In this camp 52 Cubs/Bulbuls of 11 Schools actively participated and achieved the well-envisaged objectives and targets. I.D. Soni, State Commissioner, welcomed the Chief Guest most venerated Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education, Nirmal Mahana, Principal, DPS Kathua and Chanrajit Kour, Direcor, Guru Govind Singh HSS Kunjwani, Guests of Honour in his well worded address and apprised the Guests the important role this noble movement called Scouting/Guiding is playing to inculcate values, manners to self-discipline in young & girls in their impressionable age. The Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education was the Chief Guest being Vice-President of J&K State unit Bharat Scouts and Guides. She is a lady with practical vision and wisdom, knowledge and imagination, intelligence and creativity and above all a celebrity having courage of conviction. She in her, usual, very impressive and well-worded address and stressed upon the trainers that education is not the information that put into the brains of young's and run riot there, undigested all their life. They must be imparted life building, man-making, character-building assimilations of idea. |
