| SKUAST-Jammu observes vigilance awareness week | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 30: SKUAST-Jammu is observing "Vigilance Awareness week 2019" from 28 October to 02 November 2019, to create awareness against the menace of corruption.
The theme of Vigilance Awareness Week is "Integrity - A way of life". Dr. K. S. Risam, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-J administered integrity pledge with objective to raise public awareness against the threat posed by corruption and to make citizens conscious of their right to live in a corruption free society.
Vice Chancellor said that every citizen should be vigilant and commit to highest standards of honesty and integrity at all times and support the fight against corruption. Before the integrity pledge, Dean Students' Welfare in his introductory remarks said that integrity and ethics are foundation of any organization and employees should inculcate these values. He further said that academic and professional integrity has immense importance in professional institutes. All the statutory officers of the university participated in the pledge. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Rajesh Katoch (Dean Students' Welfare). |
