Tourism Federation will provide every possible help to stranded passengers and truck drivers : Raman Suri

Jammu, Oct 30: Tourism Federation of Jammu today distributed free food and other essentials amongst drivers and cleaners besides other passengers whose vehicles were stranded at Jammu today.
The various terror incidents like the killing of innocent drivers, the Kulgam incident leading to death of labourers and the like, that took place in Kashmir valley and were meant for creating panic among the common people, have grown a fear among the truckers and drivers due to which the vehicles are stranded on the National Highway.
Raman Suri, General Secretary of the Federation, led a team including Gurmeet Singh, Sat Pal Chouhan, Kuldeep Luthra, Twinkle Gupta, Ishant Mahajan, Kiran Wattal and Amit Gandotra, which started from Narwal and went up to Nagrota to distribute food amongst stranded passengers. They also ensured them that in case traffic doesn't move in next 24 hours, every possible help will be rendered to the truckers and other passengers.
Drivers and cleaners from Kashmir, Kishtwar, Ladakh and other area of Valley were provided every possible help by the Tourism Federation of Jammu today.
Speaking on the occasion, Raman Suri assured the stranded passengers that they would be helped in every way and said that members of the Federation are continuously travelling from Narwal to Nagrota to help stranded passengers. He also appreciated the drivers for their dedication towards providing amenities to the people of Kashmir and Ladakh, and also thanked the efficient administration and security personnel who have been supporting them throughout.
Drivers and cleaners besides stranded passengers extended their gratitude to the Tourism Federation of Jammu and said that this gesture and help has strengthened their resolve and enabled them to continue with their work without any fear of food or security.
