Akhnoor, Oct 30: Chander Bhaga Sanskriti Manch (CBSM) in collaboration with Adbi Kunj, Jammu and Employees Welfare Forum, Akhnoor organized a composite Mushaira at Akhnoor to pay homage to Late Krishan Lal Sharma.
Krishan Lall Sharma had dedicated his life for the welfare of the employees. Depash Kumar Pawar, Chairman Municipality Corporation/Committee, Akhnoor was the chief guest on this occasion. Well known Ghazal writer & President Adbi Kunj, Sham Talib presided over the programme. Poets O P Shakir, Rajpaul Singh Mastana, Jang S. Verman, Om Arsh Dalmotra and Dr. Tilak Raj Gupta and Dr. K C Bhagat were present on the presidium.
O P Shakir, President, Chander Bhaga Sanskriti Manch welcomed the poets and guests. He gave a brief of the activities of CBSM, Akhnoor.
Poetry of various languages spoken in the region like Dogri, Punjabi, Urdu and National language Hindi was presented by the poets on various themes revolving around the spirit of patriotism and other issues prevailing in the cotemporary world.
The poets who presented their poetry included Ratan Bhardwaj, Jang S. Verman, Rashpal singh Master, Rahul armaan, Mukesh Singh Sarajik, O P Shakir, Naseeb Singh, Kasturi Lal Sharma, Kalu Ram Salgotra, Varinder Kumar Mishra, Om Arsh Dalmotra, Rajpaul Singh Mastana and Sham Talib.
Speaking on this occasion the chief guest Sh. Depash Kumar Pawar appreciated CBSM, Akhnoor, Adbi Kunj, Jammu and Employees' Forum, Akhnoor for organizing a big and nice programmededicated to Late Krishan Lal Sharma. He thanked ESRM for organizing such literary events at Akhnoor and adding to the cultural flavor of the town. |
