RAMBAN, Nov 4: District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan chaired a meeting of officers to review implementation of Self Help Groups (SHG) of Engineers scheme, here today. CPO Kasturi Lal, CMO, Dr. Janak Raj, XEN PMGSY Joginder Saraf, AD, Employment, Naresh Kumar, DFO, Batote Kuldeep Singh and other district officers besides officers of different works departments and representatives of Self Help Groups of Engineers attended the meeting.
DDC reviewed the quantum of works allotted to SHGs by different departments during fiscal 2019-20. Assistant Director Employment, gave a brief of the number works executed by SHGs and quantum of total annual outlay set-aside by different departments for SHGs. DDC directed all departments to ensure that government guidelines regarding earmarking of 30% funds of each fiscal for SHGs of Engineers are strictly adhered to.
He also instructed the representatives of SHGs to ensure quality of works executed besides meeting the timelines fixed by concerned departments. They were also directed to summit the list of departments those are delaying implementation of scheme. Xens were directed to provide copy of allotment of works under the schemes to AD employment. |
