Early Times Report

JAMMU, Nov 24: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Monday said that reorganization of Jammu & Kashmir has opened the doors of development for Jammu region and people need to utilize the new opportunities.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Gadigarh, Munish said, "The time has changed and we need to adapt ourselves to the changing scenario. Our mindset has to change and we have to become realistic."
Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency said, "Leaders who have represented us during all these years cannot take us for a ride anymore by raising hollow slogans and giving lollypops to us. Before voting for anyone we need to check the report card and then decide."
Munish said, "It is unfortunate that politicians not living upto the expectations of the common people have made them loose faith in the system. The common perception seems that politicians appear during the election season and then disappear from the scene."
Munish thanked people for welcoming his initiative and endorsing his vision. "I have been overwhelmed by the love and affection which I have received from the people since the day I started the mass contact programme. I assure my people that if I win I will become their voice and fight for their rights," he added.
