Chief Engineer PHE tours Dansal block

Jammu, Nov 4: Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Chadha, Chief Engineer PHE Department Jammu along with Superintending Engineer Hydraulic Circle Jammu Sumit Puri and Executive Engineer PHE Rural Division Jammu conducted extensive tour of Dansal block and held Public Darbars at Panchayat Ghar Jajjar Kotli and Dansal.
At Jajjar Kotli Mrs. Reena Sharma Chairman Block Development Council alongwith Sarpanches and panches apprised officials of PHE regarding problems being faced by the public of the area with respect to drinking water supply. The officials of PHE Department patiently listened to the grievances of the public represented by their Sarpanches and panches and resolved various issues on spot. The Chief Engineer also directed the staff of PHE Department to resolve all the remaining problems with respect to water supply as early as possible & also complete the ongoing schemes under Languishing and other different heads by 31st of March 2020.
Thereafter, a public darbar was also held at Dansal Panchayat Ghar where Sarpanches and panches alongwith local public were present. The prominent personally who were present were Reena Sharma Chairman Block Development Council Dansal ,Captain Pyare Lal Sharma Sarpanch Churta Panchayat, Sh. Kuldeep Sharma Sarpanch Janakha Panchayat and Mrs. Soma Devi Sarpanch Darsal Panchayat and gave instructions for resolving their burning issues. The Chief Engineer along with staff of PHE Department also visited the site of dugwell and sump tank being constructed under WSS Chaddli (NABARD) and issued instructions for early completion of the scheme so that public of the early is benefitted. The Sarpanch Soma Devi of Dansal Panchayat also accompanied Chief Engineer during his visit various to sites.
