Jammu, Nov 4: Pushp Vatika organised Inter School Quiz Competition for grade 1 on 4th of Nov. 2019 on the theme "General awareness." The whole program was done under the supervision of Incharge Sushma Sharma, co - incharge, coordinator and teachers. The programme commenced with the lightening of the lamp by the chief guest Pawan singh (Corporator of ward no. 23) the chief guest was honored by the main incharge maim (Nirmal Sharma) and the incharge of Pushp Vatika (Sushma Sharma) with sapling and bouquet. Rameshwar Mengi, the principal of the school was invited as the guest. Seven schools participated in the competition. The schools were Shiva Public School, Shiksha Niketan (Gandhi Nagar), Madhuvan Kids Play Way, Pushp Vatika, Banyan international school, New Modern Public School, R.M public school. The competition starts with a welcome dance performed by the students. There were seven teams and 3 Rounds. All the teams gave a tough competition to each other. After that, the winners were announced. R.M. public school bagged the first prize, Shiksha Niketan (Gandhi Nagar) secured second prize and Banyan International School secured the third prize.
The chief guest, Pawan Singh appreciated the students for their efforts. He said that students should be exposed to various activities so that their overall development and personality is grooved.
Prizes and gifts were distributed among the winners and the participants. Delicious refreshment were also served to all the participants.
