| Medical Enclave turns 'heaven' for thieves; 3 thefts in 10 days, Police unmoved | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 16: Under nose of Police from Medical Enclave Bakshi Nagar in broad day lights thieves thrice decamped with cash, gold and mobile phones in last 10 days.
According to inmates of the hostel the matter has been brought into notice of higher authorities of the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and repeated complaints have been lodged with Bakshi Nagar Police.
"10 days ago some thieves stolen gold worth Rs 9 lacs, and today they again entered a house and decamped with a gold chain and a mobile phone, similar incidents in past has also taken place, but couldn't be work out yet", they said.
Ridiculing non-seriousness of concerned police the inmates said that the thieves continually striking in the sensitive area, but police just come and enquire the incident, but no further development has taken place yet on the part of police. |
