Sub phase 3 of B2V2 commenced in 80 Panchayats

Poonch, Nov 29: On the fifth day the Second phase of Back to Village program (B2V2) entered into its last Sub phase 3 in which a total of 80 panchayats are covered here.
Different Visiting officers from within and outside the district reached their designated panchayts where they conducted the proceedings of B2V2.
During the back to Village program in Panchayat Darra Dullian the Visiting officer Joint Financial Commissioner Rajinder Singh tara held meeting with people of the Panchayat in presence of DC Poonch. During the meeting different issues of the panchayat were brought out which including completion of a pending road, improved water supply and poles for Electricity.
The meeting was also informed about initiatives and works done due to last Back to Village Program. It was informed that a self help group of 35 females of the panchayat was given training for cutting tailoring . Later loans were also provided to 5 under PMEGP.
DC Poonch Rahul Yadav while speaking on the occassion impressed upon the people to avail benefits of various employment generation schemes such as Backyard Pollutry, Dairy,Sheep Husbandry and others from the concerned departments.
In panchayat Chajala Upper DC Poonch while attending the B2V2 program listened to the issues and problems of the panchayat. People informed the DC about issues related to road , power and water supply, upgradation of school, teachers in Duprian jattan and new aanganwari center.
DC Poonch noted down all the issues and ensured the residents that all their issues will be projected to the government. He also awared the people about the importance and results of program like Back to Village. He said that program like these have great impact as they report grassroot isssues of the people of rural area at first hand.
In panchayat Mangar Lower visiting officer AEO Kanwar Pal Singh noted the issues and work done in the panchayat.
