JK Rashtarbhasha Parchar Samiti releases two Hindi Novels

Jammu, Dec 12: Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Parchar Samiti, Jammuheld its books release function at K L Saigal Hall of J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu. The books entitled 'Dhoop Chaon' and 'Prijat' (Novels) written by Chand Deepika, an eminent educator, story writer, poet and social activist. Dr. Bharat Bhushan, General secretary/ Sanchalak conducted the programme. Literary Personalities, prominent citizens, writers and family members and friends of Chand Deepika were present on this occasion.
Prof. Ashok Gupta, Hindi Deptt. University of Jammu, Dr. Richa Sharma, Subhash Sharma and Naresh Udhas presented the introductory papers on both the books.
Padamshree Prof. Ved Ghai was the chief guest on this occasion whereas Prof. Raj Kumar, Ex- Hod, Hindi Deptt. Jammu University and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages were the guests of honour.
President of the Samiti, S. Deedar Singh while welcoming the guests and audience said that Jammu Kashmir Bhasha Parchar Samiti, Jammu is a literary organization which is working for the promotion of literature and the writers of the national and regional languages. Chand Deepika elaborated on her work during her address to the audience.
