Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee appeals Sangat to participate in Nagar Kirtan

Jammu, Dec 29: Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu has appealed to the Sangat for participation in Nagar Kirtan in connection with Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh tomorrow.
While addressing a press conference, Jagjit Singh, President, District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu informed that the Nagar Kirtan will commence at 10 am from Gurdwara Sri Guru Nanak Dev, Chand Nagar, Jammu.
He informed that in the Nagar Kirtan, specially invited Preacher Dr Roop Singh, General Secretary of Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, Amritsar, Bhai Harpreet Singh of Amritsar, Bhai Harbhinder Singh, Incharge Sikh Mission Jammu & Kashmir, Panthak Kavi - Bhai Sulakhan Singh Arshi of Jammu, Bhai Ranjeet Singh Khalsa of Yamuna Nagar, Bhai Bhagat Singh Bir of Jagadhari, Sangeetkar- Bhai Harbhajan Singh Nahal of Jalandhar, and Bibi Davinder Kour of Jammu will recite the Gurbani and Sikh History on the occasion. He specially appealed to the youths to participate in the Nagar Kirtan in a disciplined manner.
District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu also appealed to the general public that the timing of the Nagar Kirtan is from 10.00 a.m. onwards and the route is Gurduwara Sri Guru Nanak Dev, Chand Nagar, Jammu, Hotel Fortune Inn Riviera, Vivekananda Chowk, Dogra Chowk, District Police Lines, Dainik Jagran Chowk, Green Belt Chowk, Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar, FCI Depot, Balmiki Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Guru Nanak Nagar will culminate at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Guru Nanak Nagar, Jammu at around 5 pm and the traffic on this route will remain disturbed due to the Nagar Kirtan, and appealed to the public to bear with it.
District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu requested to the schools who are participating in the Nagar Kirtan to come in time and remain in discipline. District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu also appealed to the Shopkeepers' Association in enroute of the Nagar Kirtan to welcome the Nagar Kirtan by installing the welcome gate.
The office bearers of the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu also appealed to the Sikh Sangat for the participation in the Gurpurab Samagam (Main Dewan) at Gurduwara Sri Guru Nanak Dev, Chand Nagar, Jammu on January 2 from 10 am to 4.30 pm and they also informed that Bhai Sukhwarsh Singh Pannu, Member SGPC, Amritsar, Bhai Jaswinder Singh, Manager, Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar, Bhai Sarabjeet Singh, Parcharak, Gurdwara Manji Sahib, Amritsar, Ragi Jathas of Bhai Mohinder Singh Ji Delhi Wale and local Ragi Jathas will recite the Gurbani and Sikh History on the occasion.
