SSP Reasi holds welfare meeting with retired Police personnel

Reasi, Jan 4: District Police Reasi today organised a meeting with the retired police personnel of District Reasi to know about their welfare, grievances and other issues. At the outset of the meeting Mumtaz Ali Bhatti (JKPS) DY. SP DAR DPL Reasi who organised the meeting as the Nodal Officer welcomed all the retried police personal for participating in the meeting and thanked them for sparing their valuable time for attending the meeting. During the meeting, the retired police personnel briefed the SSP Reasi about their post retirement life and put forth various grievances and other welfare issues. SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir (JKPS) heard patiently to the various demands put forth by retired police personnel and assured them that their problems will be forwarded to the appropriate authority for their earlier redressal. Speaking on the occasion Rashmi Wazir SSP Reasi, briefed the retired police personal about the various welfare schemes already launched by Police Headquarters which includes helping in resettlement to the retired police personals, providing welfare measure for helping disabled retired police personal, reimbursing expenditure on treatment of retired policemen and their spouse outside the state and relief to them in unforeseen adverse circumstance in which PHQ provide financial assistance of upto 50 thousand from Rtd. Policemen welfare fund.
