J&K trails by 124 on day 2 stumps, Jharkhand scores 259 runs in first innings

Jammu, Jan 4: Jammu and Kashmir teams trail by 124 runs on day 2 stumps as host Jharkhand were restricted by the J&K team on 259 runs. The match is being played at JSCA International Stadium Complex Ranchi. Coming to bat on day second on the overnight score of 170 runs, Jharkhand had lost four wickets. Jharkhand kept the score ticking, while losing wickets continuously. It was the Saurabh Tiwary who scored 81 runs for the Jharkhand keeping the score board ticking unless he was bowled by Umar Nazir.
Team Jammu and Kashmir took 34 over's to bowl out Jharkhand on day second. Jharkhand lost the first wicket of the day on the score of 196 runs in the shape of Virat Singh, who scored 26 runs.
Ishan was next to go on the score of 218 runs, he had 22 runs partnership with Tiwary.
Further Jharkhand last four batsmen contributed 41 runs before the team was bowled all out on 259 runs in 84 over's.
For Jammu and Kashmir, Abid Mushtaq was the pick of bowlers as he took five wickets in 21 over's conceding 56 runs in with an economy of 2.67.
Coming to bat with a trail of 259 runs in first innings, Jammu and Kashmir has a poor start as Ahmed Banday was first wicket to go on 24 run.
He scored 11 runs. Than it was the Suryansh Raina who kept the score board ticking and played shorts all over the park. Raina scored quick 76 runs in 93 balls to keep the Jammu and Kashmir team in game, before he was caught by Ishant and bowled by Ashish Kuma. In his 76 runs score, Raina hit 15 boundaries.Shubham Khajuria was second to go on the score of 66 runs, he scored 13 runs.
While Suryansh Raina was last wicket to fall on day 2 when Jammu and Kashmir where on the score of 133 runs. Earlier, Jharkhand won the toss the chose to bat and scored 170 runs for the loss for four wickets on day 1 of the Ranji Match.
