Dy Mayor JMC conducts door to door campaign

Jammu, Jan 4: Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Adv. Purnima Sharma today conducted door to door public awareness campaign on January 4, 2020 in Ward No. 1 in favour of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
This door to door awareness campaign was started under the Jan Jagaran Abhiyaan by BJP. During the awareness campaign, pamphlets consisting of all the important information about the Citizenship Amendment Act were distributed among the local residents by Adv. Purnima Sharma.
During the door to door campaign, Adv. Purnima Sharma stressed that no Indian Muslim can have any threat “from whatever measures come into place, be it NPR or NRC” as the Constitution will take care of their concerns. “India has only one religion which is its Constitution”.
Mahila Morcha Ward President, BJP ward President, All booth Presidents of ward No.1, Sunita Wazir, Shubh Lata Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Anamika, Gurpreet, Preeti, Rita, Vandana, Usha, Sukh Devi, Kamla, Veena, Shashi, Gopal, Anuradha and other prominent citizens of ward no. 1 also accompanied during the door to door campaign.
