Rajouri, Jan 4: Bhartiya Janta Party on Saturday alleged opposition political parties for befooling masses on the name of Citizenship Amendment Act and said that step have been taken by Government to provide citizenship to people and not to snatch anyone's citizenship.
A press conference in this regard was held by party leaders in it's district office with BJP spokesman Ashwani Chrungoo, party district president Rajinder Gupta, senior leaders including Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Bharat Bushan Vaid and others were present in it.
While addressing the press conference, party leaders said that CAA is a positive step by Government but unfortunately some political parties and anti-social elements are hell bent to spread a wave against it.
"The political parties whose ground has shrunken are leaving no stone unturned in befooling people on the name of CAA," said leaders who appealed people to read the act in a detailed and than to approach BJP in case they find any loophole. |
