A deputation of the residents pointed out to the Vice Chairman that they have been residing since decades in their houses constructed on the land mentioned in the said khasras and have registered papers and mutations of the land in the revenue records which have been purchased or alloted by the Govt. The land under the title has been shown to be that of Mahajreen or state land which is not correct. In the previous notification the land to be acquisitioned was marked as private land.
