| NHM employees appeal LG for regularization | | |

JAMMU, Jan 29: All JK NHM Employees Association has urged the Lt Governor of J&K to initiate measures for regularization of employees working under the centrally sponsored scheme forthwith.
President Rohit Seth said that around 12000 NHM employees including doctors, paramedics and management staff are working under different schemes of NHM in health department since last 14 years but so far no regularization policy has framed by the government to secure their future. The long pending demands of the NHM employees include regularization of all categories of NHM employees with wage grade similar to their counter parts in the health departments, enhancement of salary between the NHM staff of UT of Jammu & Kashmir to make it as par with NHM Staff of Delhi, Haryana, grant of leave benefits as per agreement arrived at and on the analogy of the states of Orissa and Tripura beside others. |
