| SC/ST Forum resents cold response of JK Admin on reservation in promotion | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 19: SC/ST Retired Employees Forum showed great resentment with respect to lukewarm response of JK UT administration regarding matter of reservation in promotions.
The members of Forum said for political mileage some unconstitutional reservation is being introduced and simultaneously; constitutionally valid reservation for SC/STs as well as OBCs is being snatched in a calculative and well planned manner. J&K bureaucracy with anti SC/ST,OBC mind set are hand in glove with some upper caste organizations and employees and are applying delaying tactics in getting the matters of reservation in promotions resolved.
They showed great surprise that in spite of repeated reminders for meeting with Lieutenant Governor G.C. Murmu, the representatives have failed to get the time from LG office. Forum leaders cautioned .LG against misguiding and negative stand of KA S lobby of J&K. when the question of constitutional rights of SgT,OBCs comes for discussion. They added that Law Secretary & GAD Secretary always misguide higher ups in the matter of reservation in promotions for SC.,STs. They also condemned negative attitude of Chief Secretary who too have not given time for meeting with any of the SC,ST,OBC Organizations. |
