DDC directs all officers to notify schedule of their visits

KISHTWAR, Feb 29: To ensure that all the offices based at Marwah, warwan, Dachan and paddar are made functional in all respects besides to ensure that tour of District officers to these backward areas is made a routine exercise, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara today Convened a meeting of District officers and Sectoral officers of Marwah, Warwan and Paddar areas of district kishtwar at conference hall, DC office Kishtwar.
Those who remained present on the occasion were Additional District Development Commissioner kishtwar Mohd Hanief Malik, Joint Director planning Mohd Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Development kishtwar Kishore Singh katoch, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Amir Hussain, SDM Marwah Dr Javid Iqbal Rather, District Treasury Officer, Irfan Majid, SE PDD,ALC Kishtwar, DSWO kishtwar, DFO Marwah, DFO kishtwar among other District and sectoral officers.
During the meeting,DDC directed all the District offciers to ensure that all the officers/officals posted at Marwah, Warwan, Paddar and Dachan attend the office daily and instructed the DTO Kishtwar to draw salaries of these employees only after getting the punctuality certificate from the concerned district officer and endorsed by DDC. He also directed for notifying the schedule of the visit of officers/officals who have additional charge in these areas besides asked for notifying two days visit schedule in a month in these areas by each District officer within two days.
This step will ensure that the people of these backward areas get advance information about the visits of the officers and would save their time and expenses in visiting the offices for small issues at kishtwar and will ensure the services are delivered at their door steps, DDC added.
Earlier in a meeting threadbare discussions were held with regard various developmental activities in the district .
During the review DDC instructed for notifying awareness calendars in consultations with various stakeholders so as to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the departments and effective implementation of schemes in the District.
Besides he also reviewed the technical nitty gritty of the BSNL Network at marwah and Warwan area, languishing works, inclusion of left out farmers under PM -Kissan, resumption of work in PWD special Sub Division marwah, awareness of different state and centrally sponsored schemes to the people of district.
